Aperio Global is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support the Advanced Analytics Team. You will analyze software requirements, design innovative solutions, develop high-performance applications, and implement capabilities aligned with mission objectives.

The role emphasizes low-level programming, OS internals, and reverse engineering techniques, with a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 11 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Python; ability to read/understand C/C++ and Assembly (x86).
• Experience with software architecture, operating system design, compilers, and debugging.
• Comfortable with OS internals, memory management, file I/O, system APIs, and reverse engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications supporting mission requirements.
• Analyze customer needs, develop software prototypes, engineer technical solutions, implement algorithms.
• Translate conceptual designs into scalable software architectures and robust tooling.
• Collaborate with mission stakeholders to deliver high-performance capabilities for advanced analytics.
