Job Description Summary:

Rocket Software is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to develop and support IMS performance and monitoring products for IBM z/OS mainframes. Required skills include High Level Assembler (HLASM). Highly desirable skills include C, DTL, REXX and familiarity with IMS performance and monitoring products.

In this role, you'd become a highly valued technical expert working on one or more products with the support of our globally distributed team of engineering experts. You would find opportunities for creative collaboration with your peers through enhancements to our world-class portfolio of IMS performance and monitoring products. You enjoy leveraging new approaches and technologies to drive efforts to modernize and influence product direction. You would feel at home in this role if you have a background in mainframe product development and support coupled with an eagerness to both learn new things and to share what you know with others.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and support IMS performance and monitoring products.
2. Utilize High Level Assembler (HLASM) language skills.
