Job summary

Jobtailor in Maryland seeks a senior software design lead to own complex system capabilities and drive architectural excellence. You will create, test, refine, and implement components that enhance overall system functionality while reducing technical debt.

You will mentor peers, lead DevOps practices, and ensure security and compliance with industry standards. Travel may be required; strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with the required years of experience.
• Mastery level system design experience is required.
• Mastery level experience with object-oriented development.
• Mastery level experience with cloud technologies.
• Strong experience in data storage technologies.
• Strong background in performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD technologies.

• Strong background in software security.
• Extensive knowledge of multiple/related functional areas and industry practices.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Establish a network of colleagues supporting technology or business opportunities.
