The role requires deep expertise in system design, performance engineering, reliability, and cross‑organizational leadership. You will mentor senior engineers and influence technology roadmaps across multiple teams while working remotely within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Ten or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise designing distributed, high-scale systems in production.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, C++, or similar backend languages.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide architectural standards and guardrails.
• Lead the design of scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems at global scale.
• Architect multi-region platforms with focus on availability and disaster recovery.
• Drive modernization initiatives including microservices and API governance.
