Ciklum is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our US team. You will own cross-functional architecture and shape platform strategy for enterprise-grade SaaS products.

You will drive modernization, define API standards, and mentor engineers across multiple teams while navigating complex, multi-region cloud environments and security considerations. This role requires strong communication, hands-on problem solving, and a track record of delivering durable technical decisions in

Qualifications

Ten years total experience, with ≥5 years as Staff/Principal at B2B SaaS startups.
Strong knowledge across Java/J2EE, Oracle, Postgres, AWS, GCP, Azure, and frontend frameworks.
Ability to move between system-level architecture and hands-on problem solving.
Experience building and operating modern B2B SaaS apps with solid engineering fundamentals.
Proven architecture leadership across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Own architecture across product and platform.
Define and evolve platform and API standards.
Lead architecture reviews and roadmaps balancing delivery and long-term maintainability.
