MojoTech is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Software Engineer/Architect to lead client engagements across architecture, delivery, and growth. You will work directly with client stakeholders to shape solutions, guide distributed teams, and help grow accounts with trusted outcomes.

Strong technical leadership, deep architectural experience, and excellence in Python and TypeScript are essential. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic client-facing activities and business

Product focused engineering experience.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment.
Strength in Python, Typescript and adjacent technologies for building AI/ML applications.
10+ years of experience leading and delivering software solutions.
Track record of client/stakeholder satisfaction.
Experience integrating data platforms, machine learning, or AI capabilities into applications.
Familiarity with data pipelines, streaming, and data modeling.
Experience working in consulting, agency, or client-service environments.
Exposure to mentoring junior engineers or technical leadership responsibilities.
Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or conference presentations are a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable, maintainable systems across application, data, and AI layers.
Lead development of distributed, cloud-native applications integrating APIs, data platforms, and AI or ML components.
Design systems with real-time data, event-driven patterns, and intelligent services.
Implement LLM integrations, RAG patterns, and AI-enabled features in production systems.
Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and security expectations.
Guide teams toward modern patterns like microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Make pragmatic architecture decisions and trade-offs.
Deliver solutions with Python and TypeScript; familiarity with other stacks is a bonus.
Lead client engagements, technical assessments, and solution design.
Build strong relationships positioning MojoTech as a trusted partner.
Partner with sales to shape and win new work.
Contribute to proposals and reusable offerings.
