Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc seeks a Principal, Social Impact & Community Engagement to lead grants, volunteer programs, and community partnerships across U.S. regions and Mexico.

You will source and manage grants, engage employees, and collaborate with NGOs and civic groups to advance STEM education and workforce pathways. Reporting to the North America Regional Director of SICE, you will drive strategy, measure impact, and coordinate with internal teams to align corporate philanthropy with Micron's

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in social impact, community engagement, corporate philanthropy, or related fields.
• Proven success building and leading partnerships with nonprofit, multilateral, and philanthropic organizations to deliver programs for underserved populations.
• Experience managing grant portfolios end-to-end, including sourcing, due diligence, contracting, and impact reporting.
• Strong global collaboration skills, including working across time zones in matrixed organizations, with travel ~25%.
• High digital proficiency (including Artificial Intelligence tools).

Responsibilities

• Source, build, and supervise a local grants portfolio consistent with Micron's social impact strategy.
• Emphasize growing access to STEM education, employment, and career pathways for underrepresented communities in U.S. regions and Mexico.
• Lead employee volunteering programs and strive for strong participation and storytelling.
• Formulate and deliver a community engagement plan customized for each area.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align philanthropy with broader business priorities and share methodologies.
