Role Overview:

We are seeking a Principal Architect with deep expertise in ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level asset management solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can architect robust HAM frameworks aligned with ITAM best practices, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow HAM across the enterprise.
• Define and maintain technical architecture standards for asset management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Ensure full compliance with IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, usage, and disposal.
• Work closely with CMDB, Discovery, and HAM teams to ensure data integrity and system integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members on HAM best practices.
• Author architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and governance models.
• Ensure alignment with business goals, security standards, and ITIL processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• US Citizen or Green Card holder (must be eligible for federal/commercial projects).
• Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM (CIS-HAM) is required.
• 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years focused on ServiceNow HAM architecture and implementation.
• Strong understanding of ITAM, CMDB, Procurement, and Lifecycle Management processes.
• Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and solution design skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in federal or highly regulated industries is a plus.
• Exposure to other ServiceNow modules such as SAM, CMDB, Discovery, or ITOM.
• Familiarity with integration tools and data normalization strategies.
