We are looking for aPrincipal or Senior Staff Software Engineer—someone who has built and scaledhigh-performance distributed systems, knowsPython/Django inside out, and canarchitect, optimize, and securea Kubernetes-powered, high-throughput application inMicrosoft Azure AKS.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecting & Scaling: Design and optimizeDjango-based microservicesto handlemillions of transactions per day.

Kubernetes (AKS) Mastery: Implementdistributed services, service meshes, and containerized workflowswithzero-downtime deployments.

Security-First Mindset: EnsureHIPAA-compliance, role-based access control (RBAC), encryption (TLS 1.3), and API security best practices.

High-Performance API Design: Optimize REST APIs, introduceGraphQL or gRPCif needed, andreduce latencyto sub-100ms levels.

Advanced Caching & Storage: LeverageRedis, PostgreSQL, and object storage (Azure Storage)forhigh-speed, fault-tolerant architectures.

Cloud-Native Optimization: Implementscalable event-driven architecturesusingKafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Grid.

Automation & DevOps: Design CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions(or similar), Kubernetes operators, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, etc.).

Ensure automated testing, code scanning, and container image security checks are seamlessly integration.

AI/ML Integration(if applicable): Work withpredictive models, AI-powered decision support, and real-time streaming analytics.

Mentoring & Leadership: Drivetechnical excellence, set coding standards, and mentor a team ofhighly skilled engineers.

Requirements:

8-12+ yearsof experience inPython (Django/FastAPI/Flask) and microservices development.

Expert-level Kubernetesknowledge (Azure AKS preferred, or GKE/EKS).

Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)—not just usage, but architecture-level knowledge.

Mastery of PostgreSQL(sharding, query optimization, multi-region replication).

Hands-on experience with Redisfor caching, Celery for distributed tasks, andasynchronous processing architectures.

Experience scaling high-traffic, multi-tenant SaaS applications.

Strong understanding of distributed computing, service discovery, and event-driven architectures.

Security expertise: Identity & access management (OAuth2, SSO, RBAC), API security, threat modeling.

Experience in real-time logging, monitoring, and alerting(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

A DevOps mindset– you write infrastructure-as-code and automate deployments at scale.

Strong problem-solving ability– you optimize systems, not just code.

Bonus Skills:

Experience withKafka or Azure Event Hubsfor high-throughput event processing.

Advanced AI/ML knowledgeforpredictive analytics in healthcare IT.

Experience with FHIR/HL7standards forhealthcare interoperability.

Real-time data streaming expertiseforhigh-speed analytics.

Experience leading architecture decisions for multi-million-dollar SaaS platforms.
