Job summary

Bitdeer AI Cloud seeks a hands-on security leader for the Americas to own full-stack security across CA, TN, WA data centers and future sites. This role is deeply technical and demands incident response, threat detection, and cross-time-zone coordination with Singapore HQ.

You will drive detection engineering, host/network hardening, and security operations 24/7, partnering with Legal, Sales, and Customer Success to protect GPU compute platforms and ensure rapid MTTR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of hands-on information security experience, with cloud/IaaS/data center security focus.
• Incident Commander experience leading at least 5 P0/P1 incidents end-to-end per NIST SP 800-61.
• Deep technical depth in Linux security, networking, virtualization, and container security.
• Hands-on experience writing detection rules in SIEM platforms and knowledge of SIGMA format.

Responsibilities

• Own 7×24 AIDC security operations and incident response for the Americas.
• Lead detection engineering and threat hunting across GPU compute environments.
• Drive host and platform hardening, vulnerability management, and IAM controls.
• Configure perimeter defenses, DDoS measures, and traffic analysis for AIDCs.
• Coordinate with Legal, Sales, and Customer Success during security incidents.
• Coordinate cross-time-zone activities with Singapore HQ and regional stakeholders.
