Job summary

Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, is seeking a Cyber Analyst to support the Advanced Intelligence Access program. This onsite, client-facing role delivers actionable threat intelligence to customer environments to drive security decisions.

You will translate complex AI security findings for diverse audiences and work with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to strengthen monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, understand, communicate, and advocate regarding AI/ML threats and vulnerabilities to clients and Google stakeholders.
• Convey complex AI security findings to technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Produce tailored intelligence reports for customers' intelligence analysts and senior leadership.
• Foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners to address AI security challenges informed by best practices.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a customer-facing analytical role in cyber security (e.g. Network Forensics Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst).
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  
• Experience with project management.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience evaluating threats to AI tooling.
  
• Experience leveraging Agentic AI and building agents.
• Direct experience processing and analyzing tactical CTI within an fast-paced operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Ability to correlate raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagements, and other sources into reports and briefings.
  
• Ability to take complex, ambiguous topics, build strategy, and influence stakeholders.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $168000 - $243000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Identify, understand, communicate, and advocate regarding specific threats and vulnerabilities unique to AI/ML systems with both the client and relevant Google stakeholders to improve intelligence and sharing.
  
• Communicate complex technical findings regarding AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.
  
• Produce tailored intelligence reports that meet the specific needs of the customer's intelligence analysts and senior leadership.
  
• Foster collaboration across internal teams (e.g., data scientists, engineers), third parties, and Mandiant stakeholders to share insights and address complex AI security challenges informed by AI/ML security best practices.
