Google/Mandiant is seeking a Cyber Analyst to deliver actionable threat intelligence for AI/ML systems on-site with clients in North Carolina. You will synthesize raw data from sensors and incidents into concise briefings for security leaders and analysts.

You will communicate complex AI security threats clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to improve defense posture.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate threats and vulnerabilities to AI/ML systems for clients.

• Produce tailored intelligence reports for client intelligence analysts and leaders.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to address AI security challenges.
• Support on-site client engagements with Mandiant and Google stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a customer-facing analytical role in cyber security (e.g. Network Forensics Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst).
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience with project management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience evaluating threats to AI tooling.
• Experience leveraging Agentic AI and building agents.
• Direct experience processing and analyzing tactical CTI within an fast-paced operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Ability to correlate raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagements, and other sources into reports and briefings.
• Ability to take complex, ambiguous topics, build strategy, and influence stakeholders.

The Cyber Analyst also acts as a conduit to Mandiant’s extensive network of cyber security, threat intelligence, and information operations professionals. This is an onsite, client-facing position.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $168000 - $243000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Identify, understand, communicate, and advocate regarding specific threats and vulnerabilities unique to AI/ML systems with both the client and relevant Google stakeholders to improve intelligence and sharing.
• Communicate complex technical findings regarding AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.
• Produce tailored intelligence reports that meet the specific needs of the customer's intelligence analysts and senior leadership.
• Foster collaboration across internal teams (e.g., data scientists, engineers), third parties, and Mandiant stakeholders to share insights and address complex AI security challenges informed by AI/ML security best practices.
