Job description

Principal Scientist/I/II/III - Process Development

Our client is seeking a Principal Scientist I/II/III in Process Development to lead efforts in cell and gene therapy manufacturing.

Compensation: $85K - $175K depending on level

Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects to improve yield, quality, and process efficiency in cell and gene therapy production.
  • Optimize cell culture conditions, scale-up strategies, and automation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyze data, oversee technology transfer, and assist with regulatory documentation.
  • Collaborate across teams, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in cell and gene therapy, with expertise in lentiviral vectors, cell culture, and analytical assays. Familiarity with GMP and statistical methods is preferred.
