GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Principal Scientist in Predictive Sciences within the CMC Digital & Knowledge Management group to advance biologics CMC with AI-enabled modelling and digital tools across upstream and downstream operations. You will design mechanistic, hybrid, and data-driven models, including digital twins and PAT chemometrics, and drive their deployment to production.

• Experience driving digital transformation across R&D and manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Build and deploy advanced process models: mechanistic, hybrid, and data-driven across upstream cell culture, chromatography, filtration, and formulation.
• Drive model-informed process development and characterization using MBDoE and risk assessments.
• Translate science into software using platforms (gPROMS, SIMCA, JMP) or code (Python, MATLAB).
• Champion adoption of digitally redesigned CMC workflows across the Drug Development and Supply organization.
• Build and sustain the modeling ecosystem with version control, data integrity, and IP protection.
• Stay at the forefront of the field through publications, conferences, and collaborations.
• Communicate results and foster collaboration across R&D, pilot plants, and the commercial supply chain.
