Job summary

AbbVie US Commercial BTS is seeking a Principal Engineer, Salesforce to lead the architecture and engineering of the OnePRM platform, guiding modernization and integration across multiple therapy areas. You will direct cross-functional teams, oversee vendor partnerships, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while aligning with enterprise governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years in application strategy, architecture, design, and engineering.
• Hands-on Salesforce CRM development and configuration including Apex, LWC, Flows, and integration features.
• Experience leading large enterprise projects with accountability for end-to-end delivery and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, data modeling, and enterprise security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture and engineering standards for OnePRM platform aligned with Salesforce principles.
• Lead architecture and engineering direction for OnePRM, including data modeling and integration strategy.
• Drive multi-year roadmap for modernization, migration, and platform design.
• Evaluate Salesforce capabilities, AI-enabled solutions, and automation tools; run proofs of concept.
• Lead multiple PODs across architecture, development, QA automation, DevOps, and vendors.
• Define scalable data models, workflows, and secure interfaces across Salesforce and connected platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners and executives to plan complex release plans and manage dependencies.
• Advance CI/CD/CT modernization, shift-left quality practices, and compliance controls.
• Establish review and release processes for consistent engineering quality and governance.
• Manage technical debt, refactoring, and platform governance to ensure scalability.
• Maintain data quality, privacy, security, and compliance per AbbVie policies.
