Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking a Principal SWE Tech Lead / Salesforce Architect to lead design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions across Salesforce and connected systems.

You will drive architecture, integrations, and end-to-end delivery, partnering with product, business, and engineering teams while mentoring distributed onshore/offshore teams to ensure secure enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field with 10+ years of hands-on distributed application development experience.
• 7+ years of strong hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, SOQL) with expertise in building scalable solutions, integrating external systems (REST APIs, event-driven architecture), and applying best practices across architecture, data modeling, security, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on development experience with JAVA, Typescript / JavaScript, and frameworks such as Spring, Springboot, ReactJS, NodeJS, and/or Azure/AWS.
• Exposure or knowledge of messaging/integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration across Salesforce and external systems.
