Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Robotics Systems Engineer in Boston to lead all aspects of systems engineering for a complex surgical robotic platform through its full lifecycle.

The role requires deep expertise in system architecture, requirements flow-down, and cross‑functional collaboration with hardware, software, clinical, and quality teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership without people management is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master's in relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years in multidisciplinary systems engineering.
• Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices preferred.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware testing.

• Define system architecture and develop testable requirements.
• Own end-to-end requirements lifecycle with traceability.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, controls, and V&V teams.
