Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Principal Engineer, AI Satellites to lead RF/Analog IC efforts for the Starmind constellation. You will collaborate with systems, firmware, and ASIC teams to deliver high-performance RFIC solutions for space and ground infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of RFIC design experience, hands-on layout, simulation in Spectre/ADS/HFSS, and a strong background in SiGe or CMOS processes for Ku/Ka band radios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of RFIC experience.
• Experience in RF/analog/microwave circuit design for space.
• Proficiency with SiGe or CMOS processes and RFIC layout.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits for space hardware.
• Derive RFIC subsystem specifications and perform floorplanning.
• Develop RFICs in SiGe or CMOS processes for Ku/Ka-band systems.
• Coordinate with systems, modem/DSP and ASIC teams on hardware/software partitioning.
• Characterize prototypes and assist in production testing and qualification.
