Job summary

Heaviside Industries is seeking a senior RF engineer to design complex RF circuits for passive and active devices in a multi-domain setting. You will prototype RF product PCBs, integrate platforms, and perform field testing with a cross-functional team in Los Angeles.

You will lead verification plans, collaborate with firmware and software engineers, and mentor junior engineers while driving products from concept to manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing complex RF systems.
• Strong EM/RF theory background.
• Hands-on RF prototyping and bench-up.
• Experience with RF analysis equipment.
• Low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) design.
• Experience taking RF product from concept to release.
• Expert in LO synthesis and mixer optimization.
• Proficient with ADS and industry tools.
• Able to collaborate with firmware and software teams.
• Mentoring junior RF engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design complex RF circuits for passive and active devices.
• Prototype RF product PCBs with EE team.
• Platform integration and benchtop bring-up.
• Perform field testing and analyze results.
• Create verification and validation plans for field testing.
