Job Description

• Develops and achieves discipline strategy in alignment with functional goals and key scientific objectives.
• Collaborates with experts within the function to integrate scientific objectives into activities related to the development of new or improved products or technologies.
• Advances scientific expertise within the function, proactively sharing knowledge and opinions with colleagues and senior management. Mentors and trains team members and assesses emerging business challenges.
• Ensures quality and effectiveness of key project results through sound design, early risk assessments, and fallback strategies.
• Sources and identifies emerging scientific trends from internal and external sources, assesses relevance, and integrates trends into short-term objectives. Advances technology within the discipline.
• Creates, invents, and implements innovative approaches and ideas valued by customers within the function.
• Presents scientific concepts and results to scientific and non-scientific leaders and partners, maximizing impact and value of expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related field with 16 years of related work experience; Master’s Degree or PharmD with 14 years; PhD with 8 years.
• Proven ability to innovate with a track record of new or improved product releases.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with internal and external collaborators.

Additional Information

• The salary range is $137,500 - $261,000, based on location and other factors.
• Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, insurance, 401(k), and participation in incentive programs.
• Note: Compensation is only considered earned once paid and is subject to change.
