Job Description

• Develops and achieves discipline strategy in alignment with functional goals and key scientific objectives.
• Collaborates with experts within the function to integrate scientific objectives into activities related to the development of new or improved products or technologies.
• Advances scientific expertise within the function, proactively advising and sharing knowledge with colleagues and senior management. Mentors and trains team members and assesses emerging business challenges.
• Ensures quality and effectiveness of major project plans through sound design, risk assessments, and fallback strategies.
• Sourcing and identifying emerging scientific trends from internal and external sources and assessing their relevance. Integrates trends into functional objectives and advances technology within the discipline.
• Creates, invents, and implements innovative approaches and ideas valued by customers within the function.
• Presents scientific concepts and results to both scientific and non-scientific leaders, maximizing impact and value of expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related field with 16 years of related work; Master’s Degree or PharmD with 14 years; PhD with 8 years of related experience.
• Proven ability to innovate with a history of new or improved product releases.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse groups and maintaining collaborative relationships internally and externally.

Additional Information

• The salary range is $137,500 - $261,000, based on location and other factors.
• Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k).
• Eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs.
