GovSG is seeking a Principal Range Safety & Flight Termination Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the Missile Defense Agency. You will lead range safety activities, oversee requirements for flight termination systems, and contribute to design reviews and critical testing.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience and an active DoD Secret clearance, plus hands-on experience with AFTS and RF systems. This is an on-site role in Huntsville.

Formación

• Master's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Expertise with flight termination standards RCC-319 and RCC-324.
• Experience with range tracking architectures: GPS, IMU, C-band.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Range Safety expert during flight tests and testing.
• Oversee requirements development, allocation and verification for FTS products.
• Surveillance of FTS hardware/software development, qualification, and integration.
• Author technical reports with status, findings and recommendations.
• Represent government stakeholders in design reviews and working groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
