Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Radar Systems Engineer for the Modeling and Simulation team in Huntsville, AL. You will lead architectures, define requirements for the OSI product, and collaborate with software and integration/test engineers to deliver high‑performing radar solutions.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, MBSE and radar signal processing expertise, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Java.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with Radar Systems and MBSE.
• Experience with radar signal processing and modeling.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectures and requirements for OSI M&S capabilities.
• Update architectural framework and requirements, algorithms, tests, and verification approaches.
• Conduct requirements analysis and benchmarking to validate designs.
• Collaborate with software and integration/test engineers to deliver radar solutions.
