Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Quality/Principal Quality Engineer 2/3 for the 2nd Shift to join our team in Baltimore, MD at the BWI facility. This role may be filled at Level 2 or Level 3 and is a 2nd Shift onsite position.

You will develop and maintain quality systems, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with MIL-STDs and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance or investigating failures to identify root causes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and MIL-STDs.
• Experience supporting manufacturing/process/electrical/mechanical engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality systems and protocols for processing materials into finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in RCCA, HQMS and Continuous Improvement activities at entry level.
• Maintain KPIs and charts to identify trends and track quality performance.
• Review program risks and opportunities within the cell.
