Role Overview:

The Principal Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the performance of all functions involved in quality assurance and test execution for new and existing applications and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, analyze test plans and strategies, write and execute test cases, and troubleshoot defects for applications using testing techniques.
2. Determine integrated testing solutions, including cross-dependencies between organizations and programs, and develop data and environment strategies to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
3. Conduct end-to-end (E2E) testing covering the entire customer experience, including sales, ordering, provisioning, activation, billing, payment processing, and customer service, with extensive knowledge of network and IT integration.
4. Review requirements, update test cases, troubleshoot defects, and analyze test results.
5. Execute test cases, log and triage defects, and perform testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices.
6. Focus on 80% automation, leading the team to optimize testing efforts.
7. Adopt AI-driven tools to increase productivity.
8. Collaborate with the integrated testing team, release managers, and development teams.
9. Report status to project teams and leadership.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of combined automation and functional testing experience, or pure automation testing experience.
• 8+ years of experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber, Appium for iOS and Android.
• 8+ years of experience in building automation testbeds for front-end and back-end applications, with e-commerce experience highly desirable.
• 6+ years of experience in performing various testing types, including integration, regression, database, system, and data verification testing.
• 6+ years of experience working in DevOps Agile methodology.
• 6+ years of experience in preparing test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts based on requirements.
• 6+ years of experience with test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Test Complete, Rational.
• 4+ years of experience with Python, POSTMAN, SQL, NoSQL, Selenium/Cucumber, ETL, etc.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expert-level technical proficiency.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $130,700.00 to $196,100.00 USD annually, depending on experience, education, and location. Additional rewards and benefits are provided.
