Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Manager to support the APN-241 program in Warner Robins, GA. The role focuses on production planning, scheduling, forecasts, and coordination across program management, operations, and contracts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in production planning, and must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (not required before hire). Relocation assistance is not mentioned.

Facilities

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Project Manager to support our APN-241 program in Warner Robins, GA. These roles support an existing team that oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as main point of contact for production operations as well as liaison between program management office, operations, production control, engineering, and business management amongst others. The successful candidate will have a strong background in production planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Program Office POC for production contracts
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning and scheduling best practices
  • Responsible for monthly production and billing forecasts
  • Understands program financial targets and supports the Program Manager in achieving financial goals and forecasts
  • Review and update monthly customer CDRLs
  • Directly influences internal production schedule and supply chain strategy by understanding customer demand and contract terms and conditions
  • Coordinate and track shipping of serviceable assets to customers
  • Track assets through the production life cycle
  • Monitor established delivery schedules and provide status up
  • Provide support for both internal and external audits
  • Use root cause analysis to identify problems and formulate potential solutions
Basic Qualifications
  • - have these changed? Must have High School Diploma/GED and 9 years related experience Will also consider a bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in project and/or program management or a master’s degree and 3 years experience in project and/or program management; or an associate’s degree and 7 years’ experience in project and/or program management Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (not required to obtain before hire) Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP experience
  • Strong manufacturing scheduling knowledge within a production environment
  • Experience leading projects, crafting briefing slides, and managing tasks as assigned by the Program Manager
  • Forecasting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail an accuracy NGSkills
Primary Level Salary Range

$81,400.00 - $122,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
