Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to join the Space & Strategic OU in Woodland Hills, CA. This onsite role reports to the Space Business Manager and focuses on budget, cost control, and schedule analysis for SSIRUs and LR-450 products.

The PCA will collaborate with program managers, CAMs and business managers to provide financial support, develop budgets, and perform forecasts, variance analyses, and funding projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of related professional experience
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
• Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts across contracts and control accounts
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting and variance analysis
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), budget baselines, and estimates to complete
• Prepare expenditure projections and support audits and reviews as needed
• Support annual operating, resource and long-range strategic planning activities
