Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Principal Product Strategist within Research and Development to lead measurement and learning for ACCESS-aligned care models. You will define outcomes, KPIs, and data strategies, linking clinical, technology, and analytics teams to produce actionable insights.

This high-visibility role drives recommendations that shape strategy, partner choices, and scale decisions in a hybrid, virtual work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• Master's degree in public health, health services research, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in healthcare or life sciences with payer/provider/digital health exposure.
• Experience designing outcomes measurement and translating results into financial impact.
• Cross-functional leadership without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own measurement and learning strategy for technology-enabled care models.
• Define outcomes and KPIs and determine comparison approaches.
• Bridge clinical, technology, and analytics teams to inform decisions.
• Translate results into recommendations that shape strategy and scaling.

Education

Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience

Master's degree in public health or health services research (preferred)
