Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks a Principal Product Strategist to own how we measure and learn from technology-enabled care models, starting with ACCESS-aligned pathways. You will set the measurement and data strategy, connect clinical, technology, and analytics teams, and translate results into actionable recommendations that shape strategy and scaling decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years in healthcare analytics.
Master's degree in public health/health services research preferred.
10+ years in healthcare or life sciences with payer/provider/digital health experience.
Experience defining outcomes and KPIs and translating results into financial impact.
Track record leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Experience building dashboards/analytics in HIPAA environments.
Strong executive communication and presenting findings clearly.
Experience evaluating AI-enabled care models and value-based payments.
Peer-reviewed outcomes research publications a plus.

Responsibilities

Own outcomes measurement for healthcare programs.
Define KPIs, comparison approaches, and financial impact.
Lead cross-functional work across clinical, technology, and analytics.
Develop reporting dashboards for internal/external stakeholders in HIPAA environments.
Translate results into strategic recommendations and scaling decisions.
