Job summary

TALENT Software Services in Minnesota is seeking a Quality/Post-Market Surveillance professional to analyze product performance and enhance complaint monitoring strategies across the product lifecycle.

The role focuses on evaluating complaint data, defining trending criteria, and applying statistical methods in collaboration with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams to ensure compliant and effective monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 7+ years in medical device quality, PMS, complaint handling, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts and their practical application to quality monitoring.
• Experience developing or maintaining complaint trending or signal detection methodologies.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• Ability to apply technical judgment and risk-based thinking to complex problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document technical rationale.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support projects to develop and improve complaint monitoring strategies.
• Evaluate complaint data, risk profiles, and usage patterns to determine monitoring methods and thresholds.
• Defend the rationale for product-specific trending criteria using statistical principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Development, Manufacturing, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Investigation).
• Review and reassess monitoring strategies to stay aligned with product risk and regulatory requirements.
• Perform complaint trending analyses and investigate potential signals or emerging concerns.
• Document technical justifications and supporting evidence per quality system requirements.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of monitoring processes and work instructions.
• Use Excel and other tools to analyze data and maintain documentation.
• Participate in audits and quality system activities related to PMS.
