Job description

Job ID: 2924384 | Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc.

Come join Amazon S3, the world's leading cloud storage provider. Amazon S3 manages exabytes of customer data across trillions of objects, with industry-leading durability, availability, and scale. You'll help define the next generation of cloud storage while working with a collaborative team of creative and talented engineers, product managers, designers, and solutions architects. Your work will directly impact millions of customers, including major enterprises and applications you love like Airbnb, Netflix, Snap, and more.

We are currently looking for a technical Product Manager to work backwards from customers to help define new ways to store and access data across a range of use cases, such as enterprise applications, data analytics, AI/ML, long-term digital archive, and more. You'll thrive in this role if you love technology, are able to understand complex distributed systems, work well with technical teams and customers, and have a strong sense of ownership and bias for action. Candidates must be comfortable facilitating executive-level reviews, diving deep into data, and expressing ideas through writing.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Tackle our most ambiguous and impactful product questions, developing detailed, crisp product definition through frequent and direct contact with customers & partners.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders across AWS to drive consensus, and to define, execute, and roll-out our roadmap.
  3. Present current solutions and the roadmap to customers, including at conferences and executive briefings, with audiences ranging from individual developers to C-level executives.
  4. Partner with the leadership team to set the strategy for S3 and shape the future of cloud storage.
