AWS provides a wide set of scalable services to meet customer needs. At AWS, the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) team drives cloud adoption and business growth through innovative pricing strategies. The organization comprises two specialized teams: Strategic Customer Engagements, which guide transformative deals with industry leaders, and Private Pricing Programs & Experiences, which scales and optimizes pricing solutions across our diverse customer base. Within GDSP, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone your strategic thinking, and directly impact AWS's market leadership while working with latest technologies and global clients. We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead a portfolio of product management and insights initiatives within the AWS Private Pricing Program. This pivotal role will be a thought leader tasked with the development and management of strategic initiatives, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and cross-functional leadership to ensure operational excellence. In this role you will bring experience with demonstrated communication skills and ability to prioritize effectively to ensure timelines are met in an ever changing, fast paced business environment. You will deep dive on projects end-to-end, from engaging with stakeholders from production to delivery of tools, insights and reports at high standards by establishing mechanisms that fuels scale. You should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative (while still paying careful attention to detail). You focus on delivering measurable results, and with those results clearly communicated to stakeholders. You are a strong writer that can clearly communicate complex topics to a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. You proactively work to improve the consistency and integration between your team’s solutions and any related systems or artifacts.

Key job responsibilities

  • Translate complex business requirements into actionable project plans, effectively managing cross-functional teams comprised of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Establish mechanisms and inspection to ensure comprehensive documentation for products and data infrastructure, catering to diverse audiences from technical specialists to business stakeholders.
  • Design and implement new processes through tools and technology to scale the Private Pricing Experience
  • Prioritize features, experience enhancements, bug fixes, and simplify tech landscape based on predefined criteria in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Lead & participate in strategic discussions with senior leadership using data-driven insights to inform business critical decisions
  • Proactively identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability, continuously improving the team's capabilities and output.
  • Pioneer the integration of latest technologies, such as Generative AI, into existing operational workflows, to drive continual innovation for improved customer experiences across private pricing mechanisms.
  • Evolve norms and processes such as product management templates, backlog management, prioritization criteria, requirements writing, communications and stakeholder management.
