Key job responsibilities

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join the Analytics & Insights team within AWS Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP). In this role, you’ll drive operational excellence across our data and analytics portfolio leading prioritization meetings with internal customers, establishing and scaling team-wide processes, and ensuring alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders. You’ll own the mechanisms that keep our programs on track: intake and prioritization frameworks, delivery cadences, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex multi-team initiatives, and has a bias for action in a fast-paced environment where data-driven decisions directly impact AWS’s commercial motions.

About the team

The GDSP 3PX Analytics & Insights (A&I) team is the centralized data engineering and analytics partner for AWS’s Private Pricing organization. We own the end-to-end data platform from core data modeling and pipeline infrastructure to reporting artifacts and self-serve analytics providing data-driven support to Private pricing stake owners across AWS.

We are a high-ownership, fast-moving team consisting of PMT’s, Business intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers and Software development Engineers who thrive in ambiguity and deliver at pace. We manage a broad portfolio spanning multiple business verticals while maintaining a strong bar for data quality, operational rigor, and customer obsession. Our data ecosystem and insights are foundational to how Private Pricing programs are designed, measured, and evolved — directly shaping the strategies that drive AWS’s largest and most complex enterprise deals worldwide.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
