Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Merch on Demand in Seattle, WA. You will lead end-to-end product development across Content Creation, Catalog, and Shopping Experiences, influencing global on-demand strategies and cross-functional teams.

You will drive a portfolio of experiments, prioritize opportunities with senior leaders, and collaborate with design and engineering to shape roadmaps and product delivery at Amazon scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end to end product delivery.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience as a product manager or owner.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Product lead on complex, impactful, and cross-functional projects.
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
• Fully and completely understand system interdependencies and limitations.
• Driving ideation and management of a portfolio of experiments across teams and CX areas.
• Prioritize opportunities that drive the most strategic value; work with design teams to scope design effort and set goals.
• Collaborate with designers on UX decisions and drive technical conversations with engineers to plan the roadmap.
• Developing and driving mechanisms with senior leaders on progress of the CX work and areas where support is needed.
• You’ll strive for simplicity and will demonstrate significant creativity.
