Ladders is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Forward Deployment to lead technically complex, high-stakes enterprise engagements in a B2B2C environment. You will determine deployment feasibility, define success criteria, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive hands-on execution for critical customer outcomes.

You will balance technical depth with trusted partnership, manage senior exec relationships, and build prototypes to validate concepts before broader engineering involvement.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in product management, solutions architecture, or a forward deployed role with enterprise accounts worth seven or eight figures
• Proven ability to turn around struggling accounts with damaged trust or prior failures
• Experience with enterprise deployments and navigating complex organizational challenges
• Technical fluency with APIs, data pipelines, and security requirements without needing to code
• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to deliver difficult news while maintaining relationships
• Experience in B2B2C environments balancing the needs of enterprise buyers and end users
• Domain expertise in organizational transformation or talent intelligence is a plus

Responsibilities

• Document clear commitments and boundaries around what will and will not be built

• Lead a small team of engineers and establish standards for engagement and documentation
• Close engagements with clear outcomes and present integration cases to monthly governance boards
• Build prototypes independently to validate concepts before broader engineering involvement

This role will focus on leading technically complex, high-stakes enterprise engagements that require clear judgment, strong executive communication, and disciplined follow-through. You will help determine whether challenging deployments are feasible, define the path to success, and align cross-functional stakeholders around what can realistically be delivered.
