Description du poste

We’re partnering with a growing Series B tech company building consumer experiences and enterprise platforms. The core consumer business is cash flow positive, with multiple revenue streams and opportunities to expand into new products.

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to own strategy and execution across key consumer product areas. You’ll identify meaningful growth opportunities, build new products and capabilities, and improve acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization through customer insight, strong product judgment, and fast experimentation.

This is a Director-level individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Consumer. You’ll have significant autonomy and personally lead discovery, write PRDs, analyze data, prototype ideas, and partner with Engineering and Design to ship. We need someone who brings a clear point of view on how great product work gets done and takes responsibility for moving it forward.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and measurable results for key consumer product areas.
  • Turn broad business goals into clear customer problems, product priorities, and success metrics.
  • Identify substantial product opportunities that drive growth, including new capabilities, products, and revenue streams.
  • Evaluate opportunities across the customer journey and make clear recommendations on what to build, improve, or deprioritize.
  • Personally drive products from discovery through launch, including research, requirements, prototypes, instrumentation, and iteration.
  • Independently analyze customer behavior, funnels, cohorts, and experiment results to guide decisions.
  • Stay close to customers and use ongoing discovery to challenge assumptions and shape the roadmap.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to assess feasibility, make scope tradeoffs, remove blockers, and deliver high-quality experiences quickly.
  • Establish a consistent shipping and experimentation rhythm, testing important assumptions early.
  • Use AI throughout research, analysis, prototyping, and documentation while applying your own judgment and validating outputs.
  • Raise the quality of product work through clear recommendations, constructive feedback, and collaboration.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 7+ years of product management experience across at least two consumer-facing software companies, including successful startup or scale-up environments.
  • A track record of promotions, increasing responsibility, and personally driving significant, measurable product growth.
  • Experience owning complex product areas from strategy through execution, with clear examples of your decisions, tradeoffs, and results.
  • Experience growing consumer products with multiple revenue streams and prioritizing across different business opportunities.
  • Strong product-led growth, experimentation, and analytics experience across the customer journey.
  • Recent hands on experience conducting discovery, writing PRDs, analyzing data, prototyping, and shipping.
  • The judgment and autonomy to establish priorities and effective product practices without needing a detailed playbook.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort independently accessing and interpreting data. SQL is a strong plus; equivalent hands on analytical capability is welcome.
  • Practical fluency with AI tools, supported by concrete examples of how they improve your work. Experience shipping AI-powered consumer products is a plus.
  • Technical fluency and strong Engineering partnership, with clear ownership of product problems and priorities and respect for Engineering’s ownership of technical implementation.
  • Clear, concise, engaging communication. You can answer questions directly, explain your reasoning, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Curiosity about consumer products, including how they serve users, grow, and make money.
  • A proactive, low-ego approach: you take ownership, invite challenges, and change direction when evidence warrants it.
  • Comfort operating with limited resources, making decisions through ambiguity, and delivering results quickly.
  • Travel, loyalty, rewards, or consumer fintech experience is a plus.
  • Competitive salary plus meaningful equity
  • Fully-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
