Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Product Manager to simplify how customers turn application requirements into governed deployments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will own strategy across deployment workflows, templates, and governance, partnering with OCI Resource Manager, Terraform, OCI DevOps, and compute services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience owning technically complex products.
• Experience building products for internal developer platforms, developer toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure automation.
• Strong technical fluency in Terraform, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, APIs, artifact management, and IAM.
• Demonstrated success leading initiatives across multiple engineering and product teams through technical judgment and influence.
• Strong customer discovery, analytical, prioritization, and written communication skills.
• A record of delivering products from concept through launch and adoption with measurable improvements in developer productivity.

Responsibilities

• Understand how developers translate application needs into deployment decisions and define target workflows.
• Define how customers express requirements, select runtime and infrastructure patterns, and develop reusable templates.
• Connect Resource Manager and Terraform workflows with OCI DevOps pipelines, compute targets, API Gateway, and registries.
• Incorporate IAM, environment boundaries, policy checks, approvals, and configuration validation into deployment.
• Own product requirements, prioritization, acceptance criteria, and release planning across the deployment experience.
• Ensure deployed applications retain consistent identity and context for production handoff.
• Validate workflows through customer interviews, usability research, and hands-on evaluations.
• Lead launch and adoption activities with design partners and documentation.
