At Oracle, we are committed to developing a cutting-edge, consumer-grade solution for governments. We seek an exceptional Principal Product Manager to join our team in Redwood City, CA.

In this role, you will define the product strategy, requirements, user stories, and user journeys. A key responsibility will be envisioning scenarios that automate user experiences using artificial intelligence, reducing repetitive manual tasks. You will work closely with engineering and the central AI team to drive the implementation of these solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with various product and engineering teams across Payments, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Customer Experience (CX) Service, among others, to ensure a seamless end-to-end government solution.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to think strategically about the target market and develop solutions that meet customer objectives in complex situations. Driving digital government initiatives is essential for a Product Manager in this role. It is crucial to link technology with measurable business value.

Ultimately, your work will focus on building products that transform lives, communities, and the operations of various levels of government. This role, centered on human-centered solutions and user experiences, will directly impact the quality of life for millions, fostering a more connected and engaged society.

Last but not least, your exposure to working or developing a government or a citizen-facing application will be a great advantage, but it’s non-mandatory.

The preferred location is Redwood City, CA, but it is open for candidates from other places in the USA and Canada as well.

Responsibilities

The Principal Product Manager for the Digital Government solution will be a key member of the product management team, and your roles and responsibilities will require you to:

  • Define the Digital Government solution.
  • Gather customer scenarios and requirements, create JIRA journeys and stories.
  • Help in building and managing the roadmap by gaining alignment/commitment across all teams.
  • Envision AI use cases in the context of the industry and support them in the product.
  • Review the product/solution Open APIs, provide feedback, and request enhancements as needed.
  • Articulate and write Journeys, User Stories with Acceptance criteria.
  • Manage quarterly release activities.
  • Work with the engineering teams to build and manage product releases while taking care of functional, non-functional, and operational requirements.
  • Support peer teams in building go-to-market strategy.
  • Effectively present solutions to various internal stakeholders, articulating business value propositions, business problem solutions, and the product offerings.
  • Employ data-driven approaches, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to build compelling cases for continuous improvement.
  • Be a great team player and mentor junior team members.
  • Support peer teams in building a go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience as a hands-on product manager for an enterprise or a customer-facing product.
  • Experience in building data-driven persona-based user experiences.
  • Experience in envisioning and implementing AI-driven use cases in a product.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, where the solutions are delivered incrementally at a particular frequency.
  • Exposure to working or developing a government or a citizen-facing product will be a great advantage, but it’s non-mandatory.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $76,700 to $167,600 per annum.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
