Overview

The AT&T Device Technology – IoT and Tools team is dedicated to delivering the best possible experience on AT&T emerging IoT devices. This role is essential for certifying and launching devices from IoT partners/suppliers on time and with high quality. You will collaborate with diverse teams to innovate and implement solutions that push the boundaries of wireless communication.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Your typical tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Lead Product Development:Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards while meeting market needs and strategic objectives.
• Technical Oversight:Ensure the feasibility, functionality, and performance of products through technical guidance, rigorous testing, and quality assurance processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including external partners, marketing, network, Tech Dev, engineering, and supply chain, to deliver commitments to the business on time and with high quality.
• Market and Technology Research:Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to inform development strategies, translating customer requirements and business objectives into technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required.
• 8+ years of experience managing the successful delivery of wireless devices on LTE & 5G networks with major operators in North America.

Our Principal Product Development Engineers earns between $158,200 - $237,400 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
