Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Principal Product Architect - Data to lead the data architecture strategy across the organization. You will develop advanced data models, blueprints, and roadmaps while aligning IT with business goals and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise architecture or related field.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework knowledge.
• Experience with data management including ETL, data modeling, data governance, metadata, and BI/analytics.
• Ability to align IT with corporate and BU strategy; vendor management experience.

In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of related experience is required.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* Expert proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, The Open Group Architecture Framework).* Extensive experience with enterprise architecture, capability planning, and alignment of IT to corporate and BU strategy.* Strong experience with drafting reference architecture.* Experience designing, developing, and integrating applications.* Vendor management experience.* Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.* Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.* 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Data Management, including Data Ingestion, ETL, Data Modeling, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, and/or Business Intelligence and Analytics.* Experience building data and integration platforms.* Database management experience, on-prem or cloud.* Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.**Qualifications We Prefer:*** Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.* Certification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).* Experience with cloud technologies and migrations.* Familiarity with Agile methodologies.* Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and application modernization.* Experience conceptualizing and developing abstract representations.* DevOps methodology experience.* Data Management experience, both on-prem and cloud.**Essential Functions:*** Perform desk-based computer tasks for extended periods.* Engage in repetitive motions, including typing on a keyboard.* Occasionally lift and move items up to 20 lbs.* Ability to travel as required.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.Estimated Starting Salary Range: $189,761.74 - $260,922.39.
