Job summary

SNC in Lone Tree, Colorado seeks a Principal Product Architect - Data to lead data architecture strategy across the organization, aligning with enterprise goals. You will develop advanced data models, roadmaps, and blueprints while mentoring IT teams and driving governance with the Enterprise PMO.

This role requires strong TOGAF and data management expertise and a proven track record in enterprise data initiatives, integration, and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or related field.
  • Expert proficiency in TOGAF and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Data Management experience (Ingestion, ETL, Modeling, Profiling, Quality, Metadata, MDM, BI/Analytics).
  • Experience building data platforms and integration across enterprise systems.
  • Database management experience, on-prem or cloud.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.

Job description

As a Principal Product Architect - Data, you will lead the data architecture strategy and implementation across the organization, focusing on the most critical and complex data initiatives. You will ensure data solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and business goals, collaborating with senior leadership, architects, SMEs, and the Enterprise PMO to drive governance and alignment. Your role will involve developing advanced data models, strategic blueprints, and roadmaps, staying ahead of leading industry trends to create a robust and efficient data environment. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

  • Identify and capitalize on leading industry trends, recommending advanced data architecture strategies.
  • Ensure data solutions meet enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor and guide IT teams on advanced data architecture best practices and implementation.
  • Develop and enforce enterprise data patterns, models, and standards.
  • Lead the integration of enterprise data across various platforms and applications with a focus on efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ Years of Experience in Enterprise Architecture, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Expert proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, The Open Group Architecture Framework).
  • Extensive experience with enterprise architecture, capability planning, and alignment of IT to corporate and BU strategy.
  • Strong experience with drafting reference architecture.
  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating applications.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Data Management, including Data Ingestion, ETL, Data Modeling, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, and/or Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Experience building data and integration platforms.
  • Database management experience, on-prem or cloud.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience with cloud technologies and migrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and application modernization.
  • Experience conceptualizing and developing abstract representations.
  • DevOps methodology experience.
  • Data Management experience, both on-prem and cloud.
Essential Functions:
  • Perform desk-based computer tasks for extended periods.
  • Engage in repetitive motions, including typing on a keyboard.
  • Occasionally lift and move items up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to travel as required.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

$189,761.74 - $260,922.39. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
