Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own flight-critical power system design for X-BAT.
• Design power electronics including inverters, DC-DC converters, and battery management.
• Lead design verification and manufacturing deployment.
• Provide mentorship to power team and cross-functional groups.
• Harden designs for harsh environments (shock, vibration, high altitude, radiation).
• Oversee power sub-systems for both <1 kW and >10 kW.
• Full-cycle hardware development from concept to validation.
• Drive PCB layout with ECAD engineers focusing on power density, EMI, thermal, manufacturability.
• Design for Safety, Manufacturability and Reliability.
• Cross-functional collaboration across Mechanical, Embedded, Software, Supply Chain, and Production.
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage project timelines and milestones.
