Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current Full Scope polygraph.
• 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software development and/or information systems architecture design and operations.
• Experience leading engineering boards and review processes.
• Experience with design trade studies, risk assessments, and technical decision-making.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.
• Experience with system integrated testing and verification/validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas (internal/external resources).
• Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research, development, and business requirements.
• Collaborates with engineers and business development to identify new concepts and potential expansions.
• Identifies performance metrics and ensures WBS/PBS, schedule, and resource loading are met.
• Defines roles and responsibilities through RAA.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural coherence and timely delivery.
• Implements lessons learned into strategic process improvements and presents outcomes to management.
• Creates and maintains interface control documents (ICDs).
• Develops system architecture artifacts aligned with program objectives.
• Elicits and manages system-level requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Produces Concept of Operations (ConOps) documents with scenarios and roles.
