Mission Systems Software Chief Architect

Company: The Boeing Company

The Boeing Company is seeking Mission Systems Software Chief Architect to support our proprietary Mission Systems software team in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization and compliment the Chief Software Architect role already in place on our teams.

The team is looking to hire a senior software engineer defining and integrating processes and tooling paradigms to support critical architecture development and cadence software development activities. This role will involve orchestrating these activities the various teams through all phases of the software development life-cycle from requirements decomposition, architecture definition, software development and testing to include supplier technical oversight, integration of supplier and Boeing software and hardware, and documentation. The selected team member enjoys working collaboratively with others, has a commitment to customer satisfaction and process improvement, and is successful working in a multi-contract/multi-program environment. He/she will support the development of solutions to a wide range of complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. He/she should be adaptable to new development environments and eager to work with and learn new technologies.
