Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a senior product marketing owner for its Layered Defense/C-UAS portfolio. You will own positioning, messaging, launch execution, and sales enablement, reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications.

This is a senior individual contributor role with executive visibility and direct accountability to drive outcomes in a defense technology context. You will embed with the business unit, partner with product managers, drive export-aware localization within ITAR, and

Qualifications

• 12-15 years total civilian work experience.
• 8+ years in product marketing with defense/dual-use tech.
• Proven ownership of a product line at $100M+ revenue.
• Fluency in DoD acquisition dynamics and program lifecycles.
• Ability to operate in an in-office setting 4-5 days per week near AV’s Albuquerque/San Diego campuses.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BU leadership and program managers to align on roadmap milestones and launch readiness.
• Own positioning and messaging for Layered Defense/C-UAS portfolio.
• Run tiered product launch framework with cross-functional teams.
• Develop enablement assets like battlecards and demos.
• Deliver export-aware localization for priority allied regions within ITAR.
