Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Principal Product Manager for ITDR within Elastic Security. You will define the identity-based defense roadmap, and own the non-human and AI identity strategy across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with threat researchers, data scientists, and engineers to build detection, investigation, and automated response experiences, while evangelizing Elastic’s identity capabilities to customers and the security community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or solution delivery for security products such as SIEM, XDR, or identity security.
• Solid knowledge of identity-based attack techniques and the identity fabric (AD, cloud identity providers, SSO, OAuth).
• Fluency with non-human identities (service accounts, workloads, secrets, AI agents) and ITDR concepts.
• Strong AI/ML understanding: behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, LLMs, and agentic systems.
• Able to move fast with experiments and leverage AI tools to accelerate decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ITDR in Elastic Security.
• Model service accounts, workloads, secrets, and AI agents as identities with lifecycle and behavior standards.
• Collaborate with threat research and detection engineering on identity threats and attacker tactics.
• Lead response and containment, with identity-system integrations and automated responses.
• Work with enterprise customers, solution architects, and sales to align priorities and needs.
• Design investigator experiences that integrate identity signals across SIEM and XDR data.
• Develop market knowledge to shape a unique identity security strategy and engagements.
• Act as product expert and evangelist through content and community participation.
