Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide vision, strategy, and execution for Identity Threat Detection and Response within Elastic Security. You will define how Elastic detects, investigates, and responds to identity-based threats across on-prem, cloud, and AI agent environments.

You will own the roadmap for securing human and non-human identities, collaborate with threat researchers, data scientists, and engineers, and evangelize the approach to a global security community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or solution delivery for security products such as SIEM, XDR, EDR, identity security, or detection and response.
• Solid knowledge of identity-based attack techniques and the identity fabric, including Active Directory, cloud identity providers, SSO, OAuth, and privileged access.
• Fluency with non-human identities including service accounts, workloads, secrets, and AI agents.
• Deep technical understanding of AI/ML landscape including behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, LLMs, and agentic systems.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a credible ITDR function within Elastic Security.
• Manage the plan for non-human and AI agent identities, modeling service accounts, workloads, secrets, and self-directed agents.
• Collaborate with threat research and detection engineering focusing on identity-specific threats.
• Drive the response and containment strategy, turning detections into actions with automated and human oversight.
• Work with enterprise customers, security operations teams, sales, and solution architects to understand identity attack requirements.
• Partner with design to develop investigation and response experiences emphasizing identity in analyst workflows.
• Gain knowledge of identity-security market trends to inform strategy and engage with analysts.
• Evangelize Elastic's identity capabilities through content like blog posts and talks.
