Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Principal Product Manager for IAM to drive the evolution of AWS Identity and Access Management, including related services like Access Analyzer, Sign-in, and STS. You will define IAM’s authentication/authorization roadmap and mentor junior PMs, collaborating with engineering and leadership across the company.

You will lead cross-functional teams, balance risk and business needs, and represent IAM in executive discussions while shaping the developer experience for AWS

Qualifications

7+ years as a Technical Product Manager.
5+ years of technical (software development, network, IT) experience.
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products from concept to GTM.
Experience with AI/ML technologies.
Expertise in identity and SSO protocols including OIDC/OAuth, SAML and SCIM.

Responsibilities

Define product requirements for customer-facing cloud identity services.
Set business strategy and road-map prioritization trade-offs.
Synthesize requirements from developers, cloud architects, security engineers and data admins.
Communicate to AWS executive leadership.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage risk and escalations, balancing business needs with technical constraints.
