Job summary

Bitwarden seeks a deeply technical Principal Product Manager for Developer Foundations. You will own internal AI enablement, DevOps, and tooling for Bitwarden’s engineers and designers.

Define the roadmap for the internal developer platform, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality gates to empower Unified Ownership Squads with self-serve automation and observability.

This is a remote US role with no visa sponsorship; base pay ranges from $180,000 to $215,000, reflecting level and location.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, with a focus on Platform Tooling or Internal Tooling.
• Experience evaluating and governance of AI-enabled development tools.
• Strong understanding of modern distributed architectures, containers, CI/CD, and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the Developer Foundations Roadmap: internal platform, CI/CD, and automated quality gates.
• Operationalize the AI-Led PDLC: integrate AI capabilities into developer workflows with governance.
• Transform QA/SRE into scalable platform services.
• Enable modular architecture: support event-driven modular platform and rapid deployments.
• Enforce ruthless prioritization with data-driven quarterly commitments.
• Measure business outcomes by tracking deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, and AI-assisted commits.
