Job summary

Phenom is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive platform components across the talent lifecycle, delivering reusable capabilities that power multiple products. This integrator role identifies where customer and product needs converge, turning them into shared, well-governed components used by other teams.

We value hands-on AI product leadership and a track record of shipping AI-powered solutions, partnered with engineering on scalable, secure backend systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SaaS product management with focus on platform or shared components
• Proven track record delivering reusable platform capabilities used by multiple teams
• Experience with intelligence layers, workflow automation, or AI agents is a plus but not required
• Track record shipping AI-powered products from prototype to production
• Strong ability to partner with backend/engineering teams and earn their trust
• Experience owning ambiguous, evolving scope in fast-moving organizations
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in daily workflow
• Excellent judgment and cross-functional communication

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to build shared, reusable capabilities across Phenom's product suite
• Own strategy and roadmap for core platform components, defining extensibility, governance, and contracts
• Partner with engineering to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure capabilities
• Drive adoption across product teams and balance platform consistency with product needs
• Engage with enterprise customers and admins to balance flexibility with guardrails
• Prototype and validate AI-driven capabilities from concept to production
• Define success metrics linking platform investment to adoption and impact
• Establish governance standards for reusable components as usage scales
